Affiliate Program Terms

The Koinly Affiliate Program is only for people with large followings or networks. It is not meant to be used as a means of cashback from friends/family, we have a separate "Refer-a-friend" program that can be used for this instead.

Our affiliates are very important to us. This agreement is designed with you in mind, as well as protecting you, Koinly and our customers. Please read thoroughly. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].

Affiliate Agreement

This agreement describes the terms and conditions for participation in the Koinly affiliate program. In this agreement, the term "Affiliate" refers to you (the applicant) and the term “Koinly” refers to Koinly Pte. Ltd, with whom you are entering this agreement. By applying to the Koinly affiliate program you are confirming that you have read the agreement and agree to the terms and conditions.

Joining the program

You can sign up to the Affiliate program through the Koinly app. Any credits you may have earned on other referral programs like the "Refer-a-friend" program will be lost when you do this. It is not possible to transfer credits or referrals over to the Affiliate program.

Commissions

Commissions can only be earned on purchases of the following eligible products:

• Tax plans: Newbie, Hodler, Trader, Pro

For a sale to generate a commission to an Affiliate, the customer must complete the order form and remit full payment for the eligible product. Any products not eligible for commissions will be excluded when calculating commissions. Any amount discounted from the order total due to the use of promo codes will also not be eligible for commissions.

Commissions will only be paid on sales that are made when the customer clicks through qualified, correctly structured Affiliate links and signs up for a new account. Properly coded links are the sole responsibility of the affiliate. Commissions can be viewed on the Affiliate Dashboard within the Koinly app.

You will be able to see your effective commission rates in the Affiliate panel.

• "Commission" is the percentage that you may earn from the first purchase made by a referred user.

• "Recurring commission" is the percentage you may earn from every subsequent purchase made by the user for up to a maximum of 1 year from date of signup.

• "Discount" is the amount of discount that the customer will receive on their purchase. Customers can also use other discount codes when making a purchase. The discounted amount is not eligible for any commissions.

Maximum commission

The maximum commission that can be earned on a single order is capped at the total amount paid by the customer or $200 USD (whichever is lower).

Payment

An Affiliate can request a payment when they have earned commissions from 3 unique customers and their commission balance reaches a minimum of $100 USD.

Payments can be requested every 30 days. Commissions are locked for a period of 30 days from the day they are received. Payment processing can take up to 60 days from the request date. Payments will generally be made via PayPal.

Refunds

In the event a customer requests a refund for a transaction for which the Affiliate has earned commissions, any commissions earned on the refund amount will be deducted from the Affiliate’s balance.

Usage and Obligations

Affiliates are permitted to use the Koinly brand and marketing resources available in the Affiliates section of the Koinly application. Logos and other assets cannot be modified. The Affiliate does not gain any trademark, copyright or any other rights to these materials.

The Affiliate will never imply that they are acting on behalf of Koinly and will never advertise Koinly products directly. The Affiliate will never bid for advertisements that compete with Koinly.

The Affiliate will never represent themselves, Koinly or their relationship with Koinly in a false or misleading way.

The Affiliate will not engage in the distribution of unsolicited bulk emails (spam) referencing Koinly.

The Affiliate will not spam websites with affiliate links.

Term and Termination

Either party has the right to terminate the agreement immediately without prior notice.

If the Affiliate terminates the agreement, no further commissions from Koinly will be paid for any past or future customer transactions.

If Koinly chooses to terminate the agreement any unpaid commissions will be forfeited.

If the Affiliate is on a recurring commission option, Koinly will not be obligated for any future payments after termination.

Modification

We may modify any of the terms and conditions within this Agreement at any time and at our sole discretion. These modifications may include, but not limited to changes in the scope of available commissions, commission schedules, payment procedures and Affiliate Program rules.
