How to File Your Netcoins Taxes with Koinly

Netcoins is a popular Canadian crypto exchange that lets investors buy, sell and trade popular cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, LTC, and USDT. Whatever your Netcoins investments, Koinly can help you calculate and report your crypto taxes to the Canada Revenue Agency. You just need a CSV file of your Netcoins transaction history - here's how.

Follow these steps to download your Netcoins data:

  1. Log in to Netcoins
  2. Navigate to Netcoins Home Dashboard
  3. On the right hand side of the Home Dashboard page, under "Recent Transactions" -> select "View All". This will take you to the "My Transactions" page.
  4. On the My Transactions" page, select the Blue "Export" button on the right hand side of the page. A My Transactions popup will appear.
  5. Click Default drop down arrow in the My Transactions popup. Select the checkbox "Koinly"
  6. Select the calendar year you'd like to export all transactions for
  7. Select the blue "export" button to download a .csv copy of all transactions from the selected year.
  8. Go to your "Downloads" and select the .csv titled "Transactions".
  9. Make sure to export your transaction history for all past years


On Koinly:

  1. Create a free account on Koinly
  2. Complete onboarding until you get to the Wallets page and find Netcoins in the list
  3. Click on it and select "File import" in the import options screen
  4. Upload the files you downloaded from Netcoins (one at a time) and click on Import
  5. Review your transactions on the Transactions page to ensure everything is tagged correctly and no missing data
  6. Go to the Tax Reports page to view your tax liability!
