Filing Your XWallet Taxes

Quickly calculate your xwallet taxes and create the right tax forms to send to your tax agency. Koinly fully supports XWallet and makes tax reporting a walk in the park.

CSV File Import

Here's what you should do

The first - and in most cases the only - step is to download all your transaction data from XWallet and upload it into Koinly. There are a couple of ways you can do that:

  • You should see a history download button in XWallet that will generate a CSV file containing your transaction history, just import it into Koinly and you on your way to create a tax form.
  • If you prefer to have Koinly sync your data automatically, you can add separate Koinly-wallets for each of your cryptocurrencies ex XWallet BTC, XWallet ETH etc using our Blockchain integrations. After that, just add the public key or public address for each of the coins and let Koinly handle the rest.
  • If you only have a few transactions and the above method(s) are not possible for you, you can even add the transactions one by one through Koinly's web interface.

Note that if you want to import CSV files, you have to make sure to import your deposits/withdrawals and trades for ALL years !

That's pretty much it. The only other thing to be vary of is to tag your airdrops/forks so they appear as Income on your generated cryptocurrency tax reports!
