How to connect Wallet.io to Koinly via API

You'll need to get your wallet address for each blockchain you interact with in Wallet.io - for example Cosmos, Bitcoin and Ethereum. The instructions will be similar for each.

On Wallet.io

  1. Log in to Wallet.io.
  2. In the left hand menu, select the blockchain you'd like to connect to Koinly. For example, ATOM or ETH.
  3. Once you're on the relevant page, select receive.
  4. In the pop up window, select copy address.
  5. Head over to Koinly.

On Koinly

  1. Log in to Koinly and go to the wallets page.
  2. Select add new wallet: Wallet.io.
  3. Select set up auto sync.
  4. Search for the blockchain you're connecting - for example, Cosmos or Ethereum.
  5. Select the relevant blockchain.
  6. Paste your Wallet.io address.
  7. Select import.

If you use Wallet.io to interact with multiple blockchains, you'll need to repeat the steps above for every blockchain you interact with via Wallet.io and add all these to Koinly.

How to connect Wallet.io to Koinly via CSV

There's no way to export a CSV file directly from Wallet.io. But don't worry if you'd rather use CSV file(s), there's a work around. You can use a variety of blockchain explorers to export a CSV file of your Wallet.io transaction history. Just enter your Wallet.io address into your chosen blockchain explorer and find the export to CSV file option. Once you have your CSV file, you can add it to Koinly by:
