How to connect VirgoCX to Koinly via CSV

On VirgoCX

  1. Log in to your VirgoCX account - on desktop only, CSV option not available on mobile.
  2. Select data export from the menu on the left. You'll need three files from VirgoCX - your transaction history CSV file and two funds CSV files. Let's look at how to get each.
  3. To get your transaction history file, select 'transaction' in the 'data export header' on the right.
  4. Under pair, select all from the drop down menu.
  5. Under direction, select all from the drop down menu.
  6. Under order type, select all from the drop down menu.
  7. Select a start and end date the CSV file will cover. This should cover your entire trading history on VirgoCX - for however long you've used the account.
  8. Select export.
  9. To get your crypto funds file, select 'fund' in the 'data export header' on the right.
  10. Select cryptocurrency.
  11. Under type, select all from the drop down menu.
  12. Under asset, select all from the drop down menu.
  13. Select a start and end date the CSV file will cover. This should cover your entire trading history on VirgoCX - for however long you've used the account.
  14. Select export.
  15. For your fiat funds file, select 'fund' in the 'data export header' on the right.
  16. Select fiat currency.
  17. Under type, select all from the drop down menu.
  18. Under asset, select all from the drop down menu.
  19. Select a start and end date the CSV file will cover. This should cover your entire trading history on VirgoCX - for however long you've used the account.
  20. Select export.
  21. Now you've got all your CSV files, head over to Koinly.

On Koinly

  1. Sign up or login into Koinly and head to the wallets page.
  2. Add a new wallet: VirgoCX.
  3. Select import from file.
  4. Upload your CSV files to Koinly.

Good to know
You don't have to upload your fiat currency funds file to Koinly if you don't want to - our report will still work either way with just your transaction history CSV file and crypto funds file. However, uploading the funds file to Koinly will ensure your fiat balances match up - so your VirgoCX data may be easier to understand with this additional file.
