How To Connect Swing with Koinly

Swing is a decentralized cross-chain liquidity protocol. Users can exchange crypto assets using blockchain smart contracts, relayers and cross-chain bridges.

Are you investing in Swing? Whatever your investments - it's incredibly easy to do your crypto taxes with Koinly. All you need to do to get started is connect Koinly to the Swing blockchain using either your public address or CSV file upload. After you've connected, you can let Koinly handle all of the tax calculations. At tax time, simply download the Koinly tax report for your country, and you’re good to file!

Follow these steps to sync your Swing data automatically to Koinly:

  1. Open your Swing wallet app
  2. Locate and copy your public address or key

On Koinly:

  1. Create a free account on Koinly
  2. Complete onboarding until you get to the Wallets page and find Swing in the list
  3. Select API > Paste the public address/key you copied above in the appropriate box
  4. Hit Import and wait for Koinly to sync your data. This can take a few minutes
  5. Review your transactions on the Transactions page to ensure everything is tagged correctly and no missing data
  6. Go to the Tax Reports page to view your tax liability!

You can find your public address in the wallet you use to interact with Swing - for example, Trezor, MetaMask and Ledger.

Please note: to make sure Koinly can calculate your crypto taxes correctly, you’ll need to add your public address from every wallet you use to interact with Swing.
