How to Connect Moonlet and Koinly

How does it work?

Moonlet connects to Koinly to simplify your Moonlet crypto taxes. You need to start by connecting your Moonlet wallet to Koinly. There are a few ways you can do this:

  • The best way to integrate Moonlet with Koinly automatically is to sync via our blockchain integrations. All you need do to is get your Moonlet public address for each blockchain you interact with using this wallet. Then you can create separate Koinly wallets for each of your coins in Moonlet, for example, Moonlet ETH, Moonlet SOL and Moonlet ZIL. All you need to do is copy and paste the public address for each of your coins into Koinly and let Koinly take care of the rest.
  • Alternatively, look for a CSV export option in Moonlet that will create a CSV file containing your transaction data and upload this to Koinly instead. Make sure you include your complete transaction history - for however long you've been using your Moonlet account.
  • Finally, if you only have a few transactions and the above method(s) aren't possible for you, you can even add the transactions manually via Koinly's web interface.

Note that if you decide to import CSV files, you have to make sure to import your deposits/withdrawals and trades for ALL previous years and not just the current one!

That's it. The only other thing to be vary of is to tag your airdrops/forks so they show up as Income on your generated crypto tax forms!
