How to connect Eternl with Koinly

Formerly CCVault, Eternl is a popular light Cardano wallet that lets investors hold, send, receive and take Cardano native assets, tokens and NFTs. Whatever your Cardano investments and transactions, Koinly can help. Koinly connects to Eternl via API or by uploading a CSV file of your transaction history. Here's how it works.

How to connect Eternl to Koinly via API

On Eternl

  1. Log in to Eternl.
  2. Select settings from the top navigation menu.
  3. Select export wallet and transaction history.
  4. Under account public key export, select export account xpub key.
  5. Click on your xpub key to copy it.

  1. Log in to Koinly and go to the wallets page.
  2. Select add new wallet: (CCVault) Eternl.
  3. Select set up auto-sync.
  4. Paste your public address.
  5. Select secure import.

Good to know
Koinly now supports all Cardano tokens and staking rewards.

How to connect Eternl to Koinly via CSV

On Eternl

  1. Log in to Eternl.
  2. Select settings from the top navigation menu.
  3. Select export wallet and transaction history.
  4. From the drop down menu under export transaction history, select Koinly CSV - simple (Decimal: . ).
  5. Now select export CSV.

  1. Sign up or login into Koinly and head to wallets.
  2. Add a new wallet: CCVault (Eternl).
  3. Select import from file.
  4. Upload your CSV file.

Good to know
Double check your staking rewards are tagged correctly for your country’s tax rules - in most countries, staking rewards are taxed as income.
