How to import data from CryptoTaxCalculator to Koinly
The first step is to download all your data from CryptoTaxCalculator and import it into Koinly. Here's how...

Follow these steps to download your CryptoTaxCalculator data:
- Log in to CryptoTaxCalculator.
- Select transactions from the menu on the left.
- Make sure you have no filters set for your transactions.
- Select the export icon on the right.
- Select transactions in filter.
- Select export transactions.
On Koinly:
- Create a free account on Koinly
- Complete onboarding until you get to the Wallets page and find CryptoTaxCalculator in the list
- Click on it and select "File import" in the import options screen
- Upload the files you downloaded from CryptoTaxCalculator (one at a time) and click on Import
- Review your transactions on the Transactions page to ensure everything is tagged correctly and no missing data
- Go to the Tax Reports page to view your tax liability!
Notes / Limitations
The CSV exports from CTC have some limitations that prevent us from importing certain transactions accurately:
- Staking transactions need to be tagged manually
- Liquidity transactions need to be tagged/merged manually
- NFTs can not be imported
If you have any Defi wallets that include these types of transactions, then we would recommend that you recreate them from scratch using Koinly's regular blockchain integrations
