How to connect C98 wallet with Koinly

The Coin98 wallet (C98 wallet) is a multi-chain wallet, ideal for investors looking for a one-stop shop to DeFi. C98 wallet supports a great variety of blockchains including Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos and more. Whatever you're investing in, Koinly can help with your crypto taxes. Koinly connects to the C98 wallet via API or by uploading a CSV file of your transaction history. Here's how it works.

How to connect C98 wallet to Koinly via API

You'll need to get your wallet address for each blockchain you interact with from your C98 wallet - for example Ethereum, Cosmos and Solana. The instructions will be similar for each.

On C98

  1. Open your C98 browser extension.
  2. Select manage.
  3. Select the wallet you'd like to connect to Koinly. For example - Ethereum or Cosmos.
  4. Select copy address.
  5. Head over to Koinly.

On Koinly

  1. Log in to Koinly and go to the wallets page.
  2. Select add new wallet: C98 Wallet.
  3. Select set up auto sync.
  4. Search for the blockchain you're connecting - for example, Ethereum or Cosmos.
  5. Select the relevant blockchain.
  6. Paste the address you copied from C98.
  7. Select import.

Good to know
You'll need to repeat the steps above for every blockchain you interact with using your C98 wallet and add all these to Koinly.

How to connect C98 wallet to Koinly via CSV

There isn't an option to export a CSV file of your C98 transaction history from the browser extension just yet. But if you'd rather use CSV files, you can usually get them by entering your wallet address into a blockchain explorer and then finding the export to CSV file option. Once you've got your CSV file, add it to Koinly by:

On Koinly

  1. Sign up or login into Koinly and head to wallets.
  2. Add a new wallet: C98 Wallet.
  3. Select import from file.
  4. Upload your CSV file(s).
