How to Connect Blockchain Wallet with Koinly
How does it work?
The first - and in most cases, the only - step is to download all your data from Blockchain Wallet and import them into Koinly. There are a few ways you can do this:
Follow these steps to sync your Blockchain.com Wallet data automatically to Koinly:
- Open your Blockchain.com Wallet wallet app
- Copy the public address for every coin that you have on it (even the ones with a zero balance)
On Koinly:
- Create a free account on Koinly
- Complete onboarding until you get to the Wallets page and find Blockchain.com Wallet in the list
- Select API > Paste the public address/key you copied above in the appropriate box
- Hit Import and wait for Koinly to sync your data. This can take a few minutes
- Review your transactions on the Transactions page to ensure everything is tagged correctly and no missing data
- Go to the Tax Reports page to view your tax liability!
This integration is for the non-custodial wallet where you hold the private keys (seed phrase). Import those wallets using your public keys ("receive" addresses) for each blockchain you used (Ethereum, Stellar, Tron)
You log in to the wallet via:
https://login.blockchain.com/auth/login?product=wallet
To import your data from the custodial exchange, use "Blockchain.com Exchange" integration instead.
Bitcoin xpub
For Bitcoin, go to Settings -> Wallets and Addresses. Click "Manage" next to your bitcoin wallet. Then "Manage" -> show xpub. Repeat for "Legacy" tab (another xpub) if you used it.
