How to connect Bitget with Koinly

Whatever your crypto investments, figuring out your Bitget taxes and creating your tax report couldn't be easier if you connect Bitget with Koinly. Bitget connects via API and CSV - here's how.

How to connect Bitget to Koinly via API

On Bitget

  1. Sign in to your Bitget account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, hover over the profile icon on the right.
  3. Select API management from the drop down menu.
  4. Select create a new API.
  5. In the pop up window - create a passphrase for your API. Make sure it's something you'll remember as you'll need it again.
  6. Complete the two-factor verification and select next.
  7. Copy your API key and API secret.

On Koinly

  1. Log in to Koinly and head to wallets.
  2. Select add new wallet.
  3. In the search bar, search: Bitget.
  4. Select Bitget and then select set up auto-sync.
  5. Paste your API key and API secret from Bitget.
  6. Enter your API passphrase you created earlier.
  7. Select secure import.

How to connect Bitget to Koinly via CSV file

You may need several files to get your complete Bitget transaction history - the spot record report, the futures orders report and the deposit/withdrawal CSV file.

On Bitget

  1. Log in to your Bitget account and select assets in the top right corner.
  2. Select financial record from the menu on the left, then spot record from the drop down.
  3. Select your date range. Bitget only lets you export a maximum of 3 months transaction data at a time - so you might need multiple CSV files to cover your complete transaction history on Bitget.
  4. Select export data.
  5. Now select financial record from the menu on the left, then futures record from the drop down.
  6. Select your date range. Bitget only lets you export a maximum of 3 months transaction data at a time - so you might need multiple CSV files to cover your complete transaction history on Bitget.
  7. Select export data. Please note if you've been investing in both USDT-M and Coin-M futures, you'll need to export files for both. You can do this by selecting USDT-M or Coin-M in the top navigation and repeating the steps above.
  8. You'll also need to get your deposit/withdrawal history from Bitget.

On Koinly

  1. Log in to Koinly and head to wallets.
  2. Select add new wallet.
  3. In the search bar, search: Bitget.
  4. Select Bitget and then select import from file.
  5. Upload your CSV file(s) to Koinly.
