How to connect BigONE with Koinly

BigONE is a user-friendly, secure exchange offering investors worldwide a great range of cryptocurrencies and trading pairs, as well as some more experienced investment opportunities like leveraged ETF trading and perpetual futures. All you need to do to get your BigONE taxes done is connect with Koinly via API or by uploading a CSV file of your transaction history. Here’s how it works.

How to connect BigONE to Koinly via API

On BigONE

  1. Log in to BigONE.
  2. In the top right corner, select your profile icon.
  3. From the drop-down menu select settings.
  4. Select the arrow on the right next to API Keys.
  5. Select + add.
  6. Enter a label name, for example, Koinly.
  7. Under scopes check all boxes except for permission to get a deposit address, permission to make a withdrawal, permission to create orders and permission to create futures. Koinly only needs read-only access.
  8. Select next. You'll then need to enter your pin and SMS verification code.
  9. Copy your API key and API secret. Store your API secret somewhere safe - you won't be able to see it again.

On Koinly

  1. Sign up or log in into Koinly and head to the wallets page.
  2. Select add a new wallet: BigONE.
  3. Select set up auto-sync.
  4. Paste the API key and API secret.
  5. Select secure import.

Good to know
Please note, you'll need to set up two factor verification and your asset pin before you can create an API key.

How to connect to BigONE to Koinly via CSV

On BigONE

  1. Log in to your BigONE account.
  2. In the top navigation menu, under orders, select spot & margin order from the drop down menu.
  3. Go to trade history.
  4. Select your date range. This should cover your entire trading history on BigOne.
  5. Select export on the right.
  6. Your CSV file will be sent to the email address associated with your BigONE account, so head to your email and download your file.

On Koinly

  1. Sign up or login into Koinly and head to the wallets page.
  2. Add a new wallet: BigONE.
  3. Select import from file.
  4. Upload your CSV file(s).

Good to know
Make sure to check your transaction tags are correct once you've uploaded your CSV file.
