How to connect AdaLite with Koinly

AdaLite is a Cardano web wallet that lets you buy, sell and stake ADA. It's a popular choice for investors who want to access their funds using a hardware wallet, as AdaLite supports popular hardware options like Trezor model T, Ledger Nano X, and Ledger Nano S. You can connect AdaLite to Koinly to do your Cardano crypto taxes using API or by importing a CSV file of your transaction history. Here’s how.

How to connect AdaLite to Koinly via API

On AdaLite

1. Log in to your AdaLite account.

2. Select advanced in the top menu.

3. Copy your Shelley extended public key.

4. Head over to Koinly.

On Koinly

  1. Log in to Koinly and go to the wallets page.
  2. Select add new wallet: AdaLite.
  3. Select set up auto-sync.
  4. Paste your Shelley extended public key.
  5. Select secure import.

Good to know
Koinly now supports all Cardano tokens and staking rewards.

How to connect AdaLite to Koinly via CSV

On AdaLite

1. Log in to your AdaLite wallet.

2. Select send from the top menu.

3. Next to transaction history select export to CSV.

4. Head over to Koinly.

On Koinly

  1. Sign up or login into Koinly and head to Wallets.
  2. Add a new wallet: AdaLite.
  3. Select import from file.
  4. Upload your AdaLite CSV file.

Good to know
Double check your staking rewards are tagged correctly for your country’s tax rules - in most countries, staking rewards are taxed as income.
Please note, there is a known issue where staking history may be missing from CSV exports from AdaLite. For this reason, we recommend using the API integration method.
