Let's start

The first and usually the only step is to download all your data from Upbit and upload it to Koinly. There are a couple of ways you can do that:

  • The easiest way to get your Upbit transaction data is to get a CSV file of your Upbit transactions and upload this to Koinly. You'll need your complete transaction history from Upbit in order to calculate your taxes correctly.
  • If you only have a few transactions and the above method isn't possible for you, you can also add your transactions one by one via Koinly's web interface.

If you decide to import CSV files, you have to make sure to import your deposits/withdrawals and trades for ALL previous years - not just the current one!

That's pretty much it. Don't forget to tag your airdrops/forks so they appear as Income on your final cryptocurrency tax documents!
