How to Connect Mercado Bitcoin with Koinly
Quickly calculate your mercado taxes and create the correct tax reports to send to your tax authority. Koinly completely integrates with Mercado and makes tax reporting a piece of cake.
How It Works
The first step is to download all your data from mercado and import it into Koinly. There are a couple of ways you can do that:
- As Mercado has an API, the most efficient way to import everything is to just connect your API keys (api key, api secret). After that Koinly will download all your transaction data and you are ready to create your tax form.
- If you don't have access to your API keys you can also import transactions by uploading your CSV files.
- If you only have a few transactions and the above method(s) are not possible for you, you can also add the transactions manually through Koinly's web interface.
If you decide to import CSV files, you need to make sure to import your deposits/withdrawals and trades for ALL previous years and not just the current one!
That's it. Don't forget to tag your airdrops/forks so they appear as Income on your generated cryptocurrency tax reports!
