How to import data from Blockpit to Koinly

The first step is to download all your data from Blockpit and import it into Koinly. Here's how...

Follow these steps to download your Blockpit data:

  1. Sign In: Log into your Blockpit account.
  2. Access Transactions: Select the 'Transactions' tab from the main header.
  3. Export Data: Click the 'Export CSV' button.

On Koinly:

  1. Create a free account on Koinly
  2. Complete onboarding until you get to the Wallets page and find Blockpit in the list
  3. Click on it and select "File import" in the import options screen
  4. Upload the files you downloaded from Blockpit (one at a time) and click on Import
  5. Review your transactions on the Transactions page to ensure everything is tagged correctly and no missing data
  6. Go to the Tax Reports page to view your tax liability!
Notes / Limitations

The transaction export provided by Blockpit has some limitations that may need to be adjusted manually. These issues mainly apply to DeFi transactions so you may also choose to recreate your blockchain wallets by syncing your addresses on Koinly.

  • NFT transactions may need to be adjusted manually
  • Liquidity transactions may need to be adjusted manually
  • Staking and Unstaking transactions need to be tagged manually
