How to do your Bitunix taxes with Koinly
Bitunix is a crypto exchange that offers both spot and futures trading, as well as earn products. But if you have profits from Bitunix investments, you likely have a tax bill. Koinly can help calculate your Bitunix gains, losses, income, and more, and generate crypto tax reports to help you file. All you need to do is upload your Bitunix transaction history. Here's how.
Follow these steps to sync your Bitunix data automatically to Koinly:
- Log in to bitunix.com
- Hover over your avatar and select API
- You can also go directly to this page: https://www.bitunix.com/account/api-management
- Click Create API button
- Under Note, set a name for the key (any name, e.g. "Koinly key")
- Under Purpose, select Bind third-party app
- Keep Bind IP addres field empty (don't add any IPs there)
- Under Security Verification, click Send code and fill it once received
- Click Submit
- Copy the API Key and Secret Key and paste them in Koinly
On Koinly:
- Create a free account on Koinly
- Complete onboarding until you get to the Wallets page and find Bitunix in the list
- Select API > Paste the API keys you copied above in the appropriate box
- Hit Import and wait for Koinly to sync your data. This can take a few minutes
- Review your transactions on the Transactions page to ensure everything is tagged correctly and no missing data
- Go to the Tax Reports page to view your tax liability!
