How to Connect Terra Classic (LUNC) with Koinly
Terra Classic (LUNC) was a popular open-source blockchain for algorithmic stablecoins pegged to traditional fiat currency. In May 2022, the Terra ecosystem collapsed after UST de-pegged, with LUNC rapidly dropping in price. Regardless of whether you've cut your losses with LUNC, or moved on to Terra 2.0, you still need to file your taxes.
To get started, simply connect Koinly to the Terra blockchain via your public address or CSV file upload. Once you're connected, Koinly will fetch your Terra transaction history and calculate your capital gains, capital losses, income, and expenses - all ready for you to download in a simple tax report come the deadline. Here's how it works.
Follow these steps to sync your Terra Classic (LUNA/LUNC) data automatically to Koinly:
- Open your Terra Classic (LUNA/LUNC) wallet app
- Locate and copy your public address or key
On Koinly:
- Create a free account on Koinly
- Complete onboarding until you get to the Wallets page and find Terra Classic (LUNA/LUNC) in the list
- Select API > Paste the public address/key you copied above in the appropriate box
- Hit Import and wait for Koinly to sync your data. This can take a few minutes
- Review your transactions on the Transactions page to ensure everything is tagged correctly and no missing data
- Go to the Tax Reports page to view your tax liability!
- Liquidity transactions are not fully supported at this time
- Some transactions on older versions of the mainnet may not be imported
- Bridge transfers from the Wormhole bridge may not be imported
- Data availability for this blockchain is limited and sync is often incomplete. Sometimes using the CSV export from https://stake.tax yields better results

How to find your Terra public address
You can find your public address in the wallet you use to interact with the Terra blockchain - for example, Terra Station, Trust Wallet, or Math Wallet. We've got step-by-step instructions on how to do this for a variety of popular wallets on our integration pages - just search for the wallet you use.
Please note: Koinly needs your complete Terra transaction history in order to calculate your crypto taxes correctly, so you’ll need to add your public address from every wallet you use to interact with Terra.
