How to File Your Newton Taxes with Koinly

Newton has single sign-on (SSO) for Koinly users, so you can connect to Koinly straight from your Newton account. Here's how.

Follow these steps to download your Newton data:

  1. Log in to Newton
  2. Click the silhouette icon (Account/Settings) in the top right corner
  3. Click Statement & Reports
  4. Click Tax Reports
  5. Click Koinly Reports
  6. Click Download CSV Report

Make sure that you export your transaction history for all prior years and import all of the files to your Koinly account

On Koinly:

  1. Create a free account on Koinly
  2. Complete onboarding until you get to the Wallets page and find Newton in the list
  3. Click on it and select "File import" in the import options screen
  4. Upload the files you downloaded from Newton (one at a time) and click on Import
  5. Review your transactions on the Transactions page to ensure everything is tagged correctly and no missing data
  6. Go to the Tax Reports page to view your tax liability!
