FAQs
What is Coreum?
Coreum is an enterprise-grade layer-1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK. Its infrastructure is built for DApps that require high throughput and focuses on the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), which allows companies to turn RWA into digital tokens, create rules, and ensure they follow regulations. Coreum also has Coreum DEX, designed for RWAs and trading.
Is Coreum safe?
Coreum is considered relatively safe. It's non-custodial, with several security measures in place. Web3 Guard tool allows users to report suspicious activity, and the Blockchain Ecosystem Intelligence (BEI) API provides real-time risk scores. Coreum uses Bonded Proof of Stake (BPoS), which requires validators to stake tokens that can be slashed for malicious behavior. However, no platform is completely risk-free. Always do your own research before participating in trading and staking.
Does Coreum provide tax documents?
Coreum doesn't provide tax documents. You can use a crypto tax calculator, like Koinly, to import your Coreum transaction history through API or CSV, to calculate your Coreum taxes, and create tax reports.
